new to forum. Had my b3200 for several years. I need to replace my deck wheels on 72' deck. Is it okay to heat the metal tube on wheel with blow torch to get my bushings inserted? Thanks for any advice for a better way.

I never thought of freezing. Great ideaNot sure what you are asking -The tube - it does come out of the wheel?
- but freezing the bushing will give you another thousand too - or the combination of the two will allow to go together better. What is your tolerance now? OD of bushing vs the ID of the tub/ wheel. IF real close I would press them in.
I have seen flywheel sprockets placed in the oven at 400 degrees and the wheel which is goes on in the freezer for a good while - slide together easy - once cooled, locked in place.
