what would be a decent price to pay for a b7200hst 4wd with turf tires. The tractor only has 510 hours. It also has a brand new woods f35 mowing deck installed with about 4 hours of run time, and a 5' box blade.

Like Vic always says the price really all depends on the area its being sold in and is theres a huge demand for a sub compact tractor. I've seen them go for as little as 2,500 to almost 6 grand. And condition of the tractor has alot to do with the price. If its in mint condition it will bring more money then a rust bucket will. Tractor House could give you a general idea.

Ditto on Eric.

One thing about the hours on the meter: Look at them closely and take your time looking. Do they seem abnormally out of alignment? You will know. If so then there is a chance it was turned back.

EH I dont know about turned back. Most of them just stop working all together from abuse of the tractor. Alot of the time Kubota just throws a cheap one on there to get it out the door and sell it. If a tractor shows high hours on the clock I dare say someone spent some money and put a high dollar after market hour meter on there. I wish mine had one. I think an hour meter must have been optional to buy when it was new.

A year ago I picked up my Betsy B7200, 225 hrs, FEL, rear blade for $6500 and I friend also picked up a B7200 last year in great shape with 275 hrs, mid mount mower and snow blower for $7800. Price will of course depend on condition but if it's much less than $5000 I would check it over pretty closely to make sure the expensive components are working well,i.e. hydraulics, Tranny, fuel system etc.

A tractor like that in my area go for as high as $9000:eek:. Thats why I imported my B8200 from Pennsylvania. Two years ago I sold my B6200 FEL , turf and AG tires with 600 hours for $8500.
