Two days ago, was the first time I removed the FEL from my new BX2380. I have done this numerous times with my old 2380. Where I park it is under an overhang on my shed. There is a concrete floor there, so level is not an issue. Position IS! Took it off no problem. Mowed the lawn and it came time to put the FEL back on to remove yard waste. Pulled up to it, connected the hydraulics and commenced to work it back in the cradles. For whatever reason it got cocked, fell off the slab on the other end, and that's where the fun began. I finally had to get my floor jack and lift the bucket up high enough to get cribbing under it to where I could re-install it on the tractor. For a while I had more rigging on it than pulling a D-8 Cat out of a swamp. 😜😆

I've taken the FEL off and put it back on several times on my 2380. It's a PITA to put back on compared to the 2370 I had. Wish Kubota had never changed the FEL mounting from what the 2370 had. Would've kept the 2370, but hated the digital dash because I could barely see it in bright sunlight or when it got dusty.

Truly sorry to hear of your misfortune, but at the same time....it 'warms the cockles of my heart' knowing I am not the ONLY one this kind of thing happens to.

Thanks for sharing your story.

OOOOOOOO I'm glad I didn't know what the 2370 was like if that is the case. This beast cost me a couple hours of head scratching. But it won't happen a second time.

I guess this is a human thing right. I've been told, if your not making a mistake you're doing it wrong. 😜 😆

You all would have a full blow fit if you had to deal with taking the loader off in sand like I do!

I took mine off a few years ago while we were building out home. I took it off on a piece of plywood and it sat there all winter. When I tried to reinstall it it had sunk 8 inches on one side and the tractor also sank in the mud. I tried to get it on for 2 days and could not get it on. I called the dealer and they had one of their owners stop by when he was delivering a tractor. It took both of us about 2 hours but we finally got it reinstalled. What a disaster, not fun. I now take it off on a cement pad. It only takes a minute to take it off and reinstall it.

Had that happen to me a while back for the first time. Bucket fell forward off the pad. 45 minutes later and a soaked shirt we were back in the game. Absolutely terrible.

Glad you got it though.
