Have a B2320 tractor that I added a 8000W start/4000W run, taking 12V DC to 120V AC. It runs my tools for about 30 mins then I have to take a break to let it charge back up. Should I get a bigger alternator, Two batteries in parallel, or both ? Any suggestion would be appreciated.

What tools you using? A circular saw drawing 13 amps? or?

Two batteries will increase your run time - what type of batteries? Lead acid or Lithium?

333 amps.... max draw for your converter, and that is not considering inefficiencies. You are not going to get that big an alternator. You need to go a PTO genset and run the tractor.

You would be much better off getting battery operated tools and charging those batteries.

Doesn't the B2320 have the dynamo?
