What I would do - and did.
If you want only one switch for one circuit - then I would get a relay - A relay is a low amp cut on/off for a higher amp circuit. In other words the current does not have to go through the switch.
A relay will run you a few bucks - and with a fuse will protect all other power sources on the tractor, you will run the load end to the lights, the switched end to the switch the hot feed to the battery and the ground to the frame or battery.
Your lights will be controlled by your switch - which will cut on/off the relay.
I would have the wires run up the ROPS in some kind of wiring loom, zip tie them to the upper legs. The lights - I would get 2 or 4 LED lights and attach them where/how you see fit. All light wires run back to the load on the relay.
