I just sold my Kubota B7800 with BL4690A backhoe and now need to put a backhoe on my L3700SU. I really prefer to buy used but even after a long period of research, I'm coming up dry and may have to buy new (I use this in my business.) I also really, really want to buy a Kubota product because, well, I'm pretty darn loyal to the orange (operating them since I was a youngster) but the pocketbook is not agreeing.
While the specs seem to me to be rather similar, the price is not. Is Kubota really able to charge more simply because of brand loyalty? I have no problem with that if they can get it, that's the free market at work. Right now, it looks like the BH80-X from Woods is winner. Is it so obvious that it's causing me to question my comparison!?
The Woods specs out so well. What stands out to you guys? Is the Kubota brand worth that much now, even when it comes time to sell?
The following are some key specs (each with 16" bucket, subframe mount) and installed prices here in Oklahoma City.
Digging forces, reach and resell value (the obvious subjective one) are my most important buying criteria.

Bucket Digging Force 3780
Dipper dig force 2480
Dig Depth 96.5
Reach 125.5
Loading height 75.25
Transport height 82.25
Stabilizer spread up 58.5
Stabilizer spread down 88.5
Kubota BH77 - $9,000
Bucket Digging Force 3421
Dipper dig force 2190
Dig Depth 91.8
Reach 124.6
Loading height 66.7
Transport height 80.7
Stabilizer spread up 51.8
Stabilizer spread down 67.6
Ansung BK976 - $7500
