My Kabota 2350 sat for 3 months. When I started it the clutch didn't work. I noticed it was out of hydraulic fluid. So I filled it and the clutch still doesn't work. It worked fine when I last used it. Is there a way to prime the hydraulic clutch?
Thankyou, I think your right from what I've read. They say filling the housing with WD40 might fix it. What do you think?#1 It's a KUBOTA, if you have a Kabota, you have a cheap Chinese knock off!
There is not a Hydraulic clutch on a BX2350, B2350, or an L2350!
When you say the clutch is not working, is it not moving when you release it, or are you not able to disengage it?
Just guessing that you have an L2350 and you can't disengage the clutch?
If my guess is right, that would be because the clutch disk has rusted to the flywheel.
I can give you more info if needed.
It may be cheap , but it's a real workhorse. This is the first problem in the 7 years I've had it. I bought it used.Tha

I think it's a dry clutch. Thanks for replying.assuming it's a master-slave hydraulic clutch system..there 'should' be a bleeder bolt on the slave so bleeding could be as simple as filling the reservoir, pump 3x, crack the bolt, close, repeat as required.
If you could get the tractor out somewhere where it could do some heavy work it would most likely free the clutch. Need an implement on the back like a plow or disc or box blade, sink the implement as deep as it will go and lave transmission in a high gear.
Good idea, I'll try it. Thank you.hmm, I'm wondering if the disk is stuck to the flywheel ? IE always engaged ??
get a big enough 'mouse house' in there and vermin pee will do that.......
Ok, thanks. There are more than one "2350" models, post with prefix and/or suffix numbers and/or letters.
Yes it's is the L2350 and I didn't use it for 3 months. Thanks for the info.#1 It's a KUBOTA, if you have a Kabota, you have a cheap Chinese knock off!

Thank you, I'll give that a try.Hmm, acording to Kub CDa ,there are 2 L2350 models. BOTH have 'old skool' mechanical clutches NOT hydraulic which leads me back to my original reply
IF the clutch is 'engaged', and cannot be released using the pedal then the disc is 'stuck' to the flywheel and needs to be freed up One method is to run it, drive it and get under a heavy load then pushing pedal in/out.
Hopefully it will break free
If not, simply 'split' the tractor, remove clutch.
I found the inspection plate and pulled it. Could see rusty pressure plate. Sprayed WD40 in there, drove over bumpy ground and reapeted that a couple times. Then it started working. My suggestion is that if it’s apt to sit for a while, block the clutch pedal down with a piece of wood (or whatever works).I found the inspection plate and pulled it. Could see rusty pressure plate.
