I recently installed a hydraulic top link onto my M6060 for finer adjustment when using my land leveler blade. It is a fairly heavy implement which is 10' wide and 54" long and has a lot of weight to the rear of the implement. i have not put it on a scale but my estimate is around 1600 lbs. The 3 point lifts it without any issues but when I use the hydraulic top link to lower it the chattering and vibration are shaking the entire tractor roughly. the top link cylinder came from sparepartsholland.com and I have been communicating with them about the issue. The cylinder has integrally mounted pilot operated check valves and I am wondering if the weight of the implement is causing the POCV to close after trying to lower and causing a hydraulic shock to the system. it is a rapid action and sounds like an automatic firearm with the fast repetition.
Has anyone else had this kind of problem and if so what did you do to correct it.

For a 2" cylinder, use .030.
There is a very good chance that the 2" unit is not going to hold up long term for your uses.
Should have a 2 1/2" unit at the minimum and really should be a 3" unit.

Good luck. ;)

Thanks for the solution. We have a place not far from here that has all of the different fittings and I think I have found a 3/8" NPT with .031" orifice.
Really appreciate the help. I was looking for a 3" but the place I got it from only supplied the 2". I'll have to start looking for a larger one.

You've been chatting with the one that can get you the right cylinder.

Sure does seem to know what to do right off the top of his head. I have worked with large scale hydraulics systems all of my life on deepwater drilling rigs all over the world, but the tractor hydraulics is like Greek to me.
Thanks guys, for all of the help.
