I thought I might share this picture. Taken on a game cam, it is from the "Bear Paw". It is hard to tell but they might have a slight "orange" tint to them. The PNW (pacific northwest) folks might know the location.

Cougar, some call them mountain lions.

Suped-up wildcats, maybe? Well, one thing's for sure. Whatever you call them, if they're that big, the name starts with 'Mr.' !

Word has it we've got 'em here in VA, too. Saw a coworkers game cam image of one. Also, a buddy was coming to work a few years back and saw a car pulled over with a game warden's vehicle next to it. Saw them dragging something up the embankment and stopped to check it out. Couldn't believe it...a car-cougar collision in Goode, VA! My friend asked if he could go home and get his camera for some pics. The warden told him emphatically , "I'd prefer you didn't."

Goode is about 2 miles from me..........let them kittys stay in the mountains !!! We have enough deer to hit every car/truck around, dont need more kats!!!!!
