The only good news is that he didn't spill a drop of oil. You have to wonder if the driveshaft was properly hooked up or not.

He lost the safety clip that holds the large rear pin in place that secures the subframe to the tractor frame. This put most of the weight of the blower pushing down on the driveshaft.
If he’s lucky he can get by with a new pto case and driveshaft if it’s bent. $300 for the case and $400 for the shaft.
