This summer I bought a 1987 B8200 with power steering that’s giving us fits. I have a friend with an auto repair business that’s been working on it for months and it just won’t run right. It starts right up but when you turn the steering wheel it stalls out. Here is what’s been done so far.
Any thoughts. I have a ton of dough into this thing and as of right now it’s lawn art. I picked up a trailer and I located and purchased the original matching Kubota back hoe, never thinking I would have this much trouble with the tractor itself.
- New compression unloader cable.
- Glow plugs
- fuel injectors
- filters and lines
- heads machined and new gaskets
- fuel tank and fuel system cleaned out throughly.
- they then thought it was a timining issue so they sent out the fuel pump to be timed. The guy ended up having to rebuilt as he said there were some broken parts internally.
- We also did new radiator hoses and thermostat And flushed cooing system.
