I was cutting the grass yesterday and stopped to open a gate, put on the parking brake, opened the gate, unlocked the brake, stepped on the go pedal and the tractor won’t move! Both forward or reverse.

Plenty of fluid in the trans.
The rod that connects the pedals to the trans is ok.

l would like to tow it to my shop but how do I put the trans in free wheel???

suggestions on how to fix it?

thanks
Francis

When you push on the HST pedal- any noise at all? Does the pedal have the same resistance as before?

I am guessing the ol nut behide the rear wheel has fallen off.

When I press the hst pedal it does make a sound that is similar to when things are normal and the resistance is the same and yes the hst pedal is connected correctly

Check to see if the rims are spinning inside the tires. I had that happen to my BX22 and the "beet Juice" got between the seal of the tire to the rim and acted like a lubricant. Had to lay the tires on their side, and then wash the beet juice from the rim, and reinflate the tire to max pressure. Cured the problem. You might need someone standing on the side of the tractor while you attempt to drive forward to see if the rim is spinning. You can also try to overinflate the tires if you are stuck in the field by using an air tank.

Sounds like you bumped it into neutral on the range lever.
