Hey guys,

I'm asking for all you smart tool turners for some advice.

I have some issues with my Bx2370 bogging down in thinker grass to the point it can/will stall out.

I know more power equals chance of breaking rather than stalling but heck that's what makes it fun( mostly ). I'm still very carefull and back down. Still love my little fella.

What options have you seen/used to get little more power? Turbo, super, ram air kits, dual filters. ex....?

Any ideas or butt chewing welcome.

What RPM are you mowing at?

What PTO setting? (High or low)

The only things that will give your more power is more fuel and more air.

Bogging down = to fast ground speed,,, to low RPM, these things are made to run WOT so 3200 RPM is where you should be running in heavy grass,,,, Bent worn or dull blades, yes dull blades will make the girl work harder,,, OR your mowing like my OL it aint close enough until she can see the worms asses
Does it bog down any other times how about fuel old new, is it kept outside maybe some water in the fuel have you changed fuel filters
A little more info will help

Bad bearings, idlers will suck horsepower too. Using a finishing mower to do rough cut work is never easy, raise deck and do a second pass next day.

#1 fix for low HP...
Buy a bigger tractor, there is no "Add on" for more HP to a tractor like that! ;)
