I was out pushing snow today and all of the sudden the tractor stopped, like I knocked the lever out of low.
Here are the symptoms:
1. Tractor whines and shudders and barely moves tractor. This happens in high or low, in reverse or forward.
2. Important point, when the throttle is set to high, the tractor stops shuddering and it feels like it's in neutral, even though it's in gear. Bring the throttle back down to under 3/4, it starts to shudder again and barely moves tractor.
3. Checked hydraulic oil, clean and no bubbles, etc and it's full.
4. Changed the hydraulic filter, as recommended on other sites. Didn't help.
5. Was record cold here a couple of days ago, -24 yesterday morning but it's 24 here now.
6. Checked linkage, looks good, appears to be moving in all the right places.
7. FEL and backhoe work fine as does the 3 pt lift.
Has anyone ever experienced this behavior or have any ideas where I might look next?
