I wasn't sure where to post this or how to do the photos, so.... After knocking some holes in my cab, my brother repaired it and put brush guards on. It is designed for easy removal and uses steel tubing. I didn't do any of the work, so I don't have specifics. This should work to generate ideas regardless of the make/model of your tractor.

Thanks, he did an excellent job, I sure couldn't do it and was trying to figure out something simple when my brother volunteered to do it.

Just an FYI for those who have been told a Kubota cab top cannot be fixed, buy a new one, this is what the top looked like before my brother fixed it, damage on both front corners with most on the left front.

It sure is and I was surprised as Kubota says its tops can't be repaired. Devcon and some others make products that work well. He stitched it back together with fine stainless wire and then a mesh backing covered in the mixture then painted it.

That's some nice work there. It took a lot of time to do that. There was a lot of cuts in it and these things never are as easy at they seem. I'd like to work next to your brother, throw around a few ideas and see what comes out of it.
He should have built the van for the "A" team lol

Tip my lid to him on a number of levels. One for being there to help you, even in families that's rare. Number two for designing and taking his time to do it right.

You've both earned my respect. As for the damaged top. I'm sure there's a way to do it. I'd like to have one to experiment with. Plastic repairs is something I've dabbled with in the past and had some success with. I just ordered a new tool to help with the thicker kind of plastics.
Here's the link. Tell your brother I enjoyed seeing his work. Cool guy in my opinion

Thanks Paul, I will pass it on to him. There are two types and thicknesses of plastic in the top, gray is different than the orange and he used different technique on the gray. He has done repairs on plastic car bumpers and gotten good results. I've done a little body work on metal and fiberglass, but realized my talents were elsewhere.:)
