What I thought was a port in the back is actually a valve. Should I tie into the banjo fitting for the 3 point?
You ckearly do not understand how the hydraulic system works.

I guess we will have to sort the outket block out first. Forget the front blade for now. Does the 3pt work as you currently have things?

Here is a quick markup of the various bits as best I can determine so far.

White = priority flow divider for PS
Blue = system pressure relief valve
Green = neutral (pump,) flow to 3pt.
Black = tank return pipe.

Where does the tabk return connect to the block?

The 3 point and power steering work fine.

I started the tractor and the angle left worked a little and quit. I've cracked open all cylinders except for the cylinder on the right at the bottom. Both of those only have one line in.
I think I smell a rat!!!

Your blade has one double acting cylinder for up/down. That is opetated by ONE double acting spool on the valve.

Your blade has one fouble acting cylinder for tilt. That is operated by ONE double acting spool on the valve.

Your blade has TWO opposed single acting cylinders for left/right angling. Those TWO cylinders are operated by ONE double acting spool on the valve.

How many of those finctions work?

Disconnect your two new hoses from the outlet block and put the plugs back in.

Start the tractor

Turn the directional valve fully counterclockwise. Does the 3pt work?

The 3 point works when fully turned clockwise and counterclockwise.

I noticed that there was a better view of the tractor block and marked it (hopefully the same. I am not sure where the black tube goes or what the red tube is from. Also there is a small hex bolt that I marked in yellow. Is that used for anything?

I marked the directional valve in purple.
Please use markings with caution but I think they are correct.

I also see that there is a label on the tractor that describes the connection block operations but the diagram is cut off in the picture.

The only action that "works" is that it will start to swing towards the left then stop. Then nothing. But this is only just after I start the tractor.

The black line is a return to the tank.

The red is from the engine or the pump.

The green goes to the 3 point.

The yellow is a bolt that holds the block to the tractor.

That diagram would have been helpful about 8 posts back. Tĺhat the 3pt wotks in both direction makes no sense but I think your main problem is the work port plumbing to the cylinders.

How did you determine which work portd went to whivh ports on the cylinders?

I moved the levers for the control valve. The only one that did anything was swing left, but only a little bit.

I took the hoses off and put the original pligs in to check the 3 point with the valve turned clockwise and counterclockwise. I put the hoses back on after that.
Thats not the hoses I.am talking about but based on the diagram you posted you had/have them backwards.

Bottom port (B) is OUT and goes to IN on your control valve.

Top port (A) is IN and goes to OUT on your control valve.

Directional valve should be screwed all the way in and finger tight.

Fix that and we will move on to the plumbing for the blade.

1) Did you install any of the hoses from the cylinders back to the valve?

2) Or was that all part of the system you purchased?

3) Do you have any idea if those hoses between the cylinders and valve are properly connected or were they just left alone from purchase until now?

I swapped the lines on the tractor and followed the instructions on the label and it mostly works. I couldn't get the directional valve fully to where the instructions say. With the tractor running you can hear the pump making noise so I backed it off. If I keep the tractor above 2000 rpm it works well enough for me.

If you cant fully close that valve something is still wrong. You are deadheading the pump sonewhere and you do not want to use it like that. You will pay the price in $$$.

Lets try to verify the neutral circuit on your valve is properly connected. Remove the upper hose from the hydraulic block and put it in a clean bucket. Start the engine and you should get a steady flow of oil with no pump strsun or whine. Do not run the engine for more than 30 seconds.
