Bobcat 773 engine v2203

I’m looking for someone who can help with replace bobcat 773 v2203 engine. The engine was taken apart ( blowing white smoke). The person I had didn’t complete job. How difficult to put a rebuild kit in?

I haven't done one but I absolutely hated working on the Kubota SVL's and SSV engines. Nothing was easy on them. I'm glad I don't do that job anymore.

I understand. The more I search for answers the further I get away. I worked in medical field as a Technologist. That was easier! I guess I’m just looking for someone in the New England area who can do work for me.

I’m thinking if you follow the directions on the manual you should be able to put back together. Remember, the engine is out and apart.

It's a super easy job to rebuild!
Do you have the complete rebuild kit?

You're going to need to strip the engine all down and send it to a machine shop and have the sleeves removed and new ones pressed in and then machined to size.
Then everything else is easy to do.
No real special tools required.

I appreciate your response. I will get the repair kit from bobcat and find a machine shop. There is a repair manual I can get. After the sheaves are pressed are you saying I should be able to put back together? Do you know of any videos of the repair?

Hey, thanks for the connection. The amount of parts are great and at an excellent price. I do have a question if anyone can help. I spoke to a machine shop who are experts on Diesel engines. He said the v2203 engine doesn’t use sleeves

Thanks for the heads up. I went to sight and the amount of parts and price is great. I’m taking it to a machine shop in Malden Ma. They are saying they want to use their own parts. What do you think.

If they want to supply parts that's fine as long as the price is reasonable.
Some V2203's have sleeves some don't.
If it doesn't then no need to have a machine shop involved at all, you can do all of it yourself and save a ton of $$$$.

If it's already apart take a picture on the top of the block and a picture of the bottom and I should be able to tell you if it's sleeved or not.
