My L3901HST is blowing the 5 amp fuse from the ignition to the Main ECU when I let up on the speed control pedal. Makes me think its the acceleration sensor, but why would it blow when I let up on the pedal instead of pressing down? Do you think it is the sensor or the ECU? This started when I started getting an E 20 code. I think I have that fixed since it isn't showing up anymore when I turn the key.

Maybe the the pedal/linkage is hitting the wiring harness and causing the wire to short.
Might want to consider using a circuit breaker while trouble shooting the situation.

Did you ever find out what caused this failure? I have about 500 hours on my L3901HST and have the same failure. The 5 Amp ECM fuse blows when I release the HST from forward.

You more than likely have a bad HST switch.
Thanks, that is what the shop found out. They replaced the HST switch part KUB T1853-42790 switch,O Box3-1-2
HELP!!! Where is this HST switch located??? I am having the same issue and want to test the resistance but I can't find it. Somebody please help me, getting frustrated. Thanks in advance.

Isn't the L3901 the same chassis as The L2501? My manual says it is located in the steering column support area.
