Tried out the new ripper from USA Attachments on the M59.

Ripped out stump and major roots in 10 min.
Raked and compacted spoils several times with wheels. Hauled off stump to gully. 30 minutes total time.

Ripper saves time and less soil disturbance. Easier to feel roots out to break off. New favorite tool on the farm.

Smokey,

that look awesome! Is there an edge there - something that you may need to sharped over time? Or simply blunt and just pulls out the root?

That snaggle tooth concentrates a lot of force in a small area which really makes it an effective tool for sure!

1” shank, replaceable excavator tooth. Guess at least twice as fast as 12” bucket and less half the hole. Impressive so far.

Wow! Making me wish I’d gotten the backhoe. That, I could use.
