B7610 new to me, Questions.

So i was pretty dead set on a B2301 recently and Was ready to pull the trigger and somehow got talked into buying something used by a few people and I am glad I did for a few reasons, new windows and siding are one of those reasons :rolleyes:
Anyways I drove home Friday with a B7610 with LA352 FEL.

it has just north of 700 hours on her. Its been used and abused a bit. Going to give her a little wet sand and buff job, I think the previous owner liked to lift things really high and spill a lot of stuff on the hood.
Had to straihten a few things out since it has never had the 3 point hitch used everything was seized up, lever and turnbuckles.
Also for some reason the wheel hubs were mounted backwards. so you needed to remove the hub to remove the tire. No idea why that would be that way.

I'm going to try and find a manual and shop repair book for it because i think they come in handy.

I was also looking to replace the 3 point hitch adjusters with the newer style that has the pin instead of the turnbuckle. Where can i find these other than factory?

It also needs a seat very badly, I spent 4 hours in it the other day dragging the box scarifiers around and its been re-upholstered to be more like an ejection seat. Very uncomfortable and always pushing you out of it.
Whats my best option for replacing this seat? I would really like some armrests.
I would also like to re-load the tires since one is dry and the other sounds like it has about a gallon in it. These current tires and rims are on they're last leg and I was thinking of filling them with used antifreeze since i have access to hundreds of gallons of it for free. And in the meantime I will search for a fresh set of rims to replace it with. Any objections to that? or recommendation of rim source? which models bolt pattern are compatible?

Lastly, The FEL is a pin on style so QA forks are out of the question without finding a QA adapter$$$ but I would like the ability to move some pallets around my yard when i need to and was thinking of the bolt on forks, I know the max load diminishes as you get further from the pins but what can i expect to lift with a set and which ones would you all recommend I buy?

THAT IS DONE TO CHANGE THE WIDTH OF THE TIRES AS THEY ARE USED, EITHER TO SPREAD OR TIGHTEN WIDTH ACCORDING TO THE ROWS USED ON A FARM OR MACHINERY USED FOR REAR

BE CAREFUL - GET THE CORRECT SIZE TIRE, AND MIGHT OUGHT TO REPLACE FRONTS TOO - YOU NEED TO KEEP THE SAME ROLLING CIRCUMFERENCE - OR YOUR 4WD WILL LET YOU KNOW.....AND SO WILL THE $$$$$ FIX!

Great thanks. only thing i found when google that number is on a site messicks. no armrests though and $238. armrests are separate for another $80 but messicks doesn't carry them.
I take it these are going to be best found at the dealer$hip?
after all that I'm probably close to $350 including shipping, May be better off with the ebay unit.


As for loading the Tires i did some research and I am going to grab the Slime adapter that TSC sells for $10 and give it a go with the used 50/50 car antifreeze. hopefully the rims arent too far gone they dont hold anything. They seem to be holding air ok. If it develops a leak i can probably just patch it up easy enough. Really need to find another set of rims.

Im pretty sure my Turfs held 22 gallons each. The rears are 33x12.5x15. So depending on your R4 size, actually, you can look up the gallons on the Rim Guard website. Should get you an idea of how much fluid to get?

Good to know, so a 55Gal drum should suffice. the reason i'm using auto antifreeze vs any of the other ballast options is because I have access to used stuff for free so I don't actually have to buy anything just got to hook my transfer pump up and start filling.

Congratulations on the new tractor. I owned a B2410 which pretty close to yours. I had that same loader too. You have already discovered the loader's limitation and that is there isn't a quick attach system available that will fit it. That was my main motivation for a change in tractors.
I had a set of bucket forks that were acceptable but they won't be as good as true fork on frame product. I could still move pallets and such but the center of gravity is pushed way forward so make sure you have weight on the back. The other thing I didn't care for was that the forks would pivot sometimes.
You can easily fill your tires yourself. There are some good videos on YouTube. I used a five gallon bucket with an old sump pump and used Rim Guard in my new tractor. Free is best in my opinion so I would use the antifreeze if I were In your position. Just be cautious if you have animals around. The Rim Guard site has a table on how much various tires will hold. For reference, my new tractor (B2650) spec'd 21 gallons each. Yours are going to be a little less.
