I have an older b7200 with a belly mower I use for the yard. I was mowing today and stopped to move something when I put it back in gear it wouldn’t move. The high low selector moves like normal. The shifter will co in all gears and when switching from reverse to first and back it moves in the correct direction a fraction of an inch. I didn’t see anything out of the ordinary looking around the tractor and the fluid was good. Then messing with the clutch I was able to get it to crawl forward ( extremely slow) if I put all my weight on the clutch and push it as far down as it would go. Anyone ever experienced this or know where to start looking to fix it? Also the tractor is 2wd with a gear shift no hst

You mention you're able to get the tractor to crawl forward if you put all your weight on the clutch... That shouldn't be. Putting the pressure on the clutch should release the clutch and it would/shouldn't move.

I'd guess you must need to adjust the clutch linkage or the clutch disc is completely worn out and needs replaced.

There are two parts coming off the clutch pedal one goes to electric I’m assuming it lets the tractor start and it engages. The other is a metal rod that goes back into the rear wheel area the clutch linkage I’m assuming. This rod does not move when I push in on the pedal. I adjusted it and know the tractor will not creep forward with the clutch all the way down

A rod to the clutch should not go back to the rear area. You might be adjusting the brakes!! Post some pictures of the parts you're describing.

This is the Clutch pedal and linkage, the switch is not the ignition, it's a clutch safety switch.

Now if you pushing down on the clutch pedal and that's when it moves, STOP as your possibly going to do some serious damage to something, no amount of clutch pedal linkage adjustment is going to fix it, you need to split the tractor and find out what's going on.

Now if when you let your foot off the pedal and then it starts to crawl, you could try adjusting the rod, but more than likely you have burned out the clutch disk.
Also before diving in further use a strap to hold the clutch pedal down (clutch disengaged), put the transmission in 1st, and range in low, crawl under the tractor and check the propeller shaft joint, grab the shaft and try and turn it, it should not turn, then take transmission and put it in neutral and try and turn it again, it should turn, then remove strap, it should not turn again.
It's not impossible for the roll pin to come out and the propeller shaft to disengage or strip the splines on the joint or the transmission input shaft.

Thanks for the responses. I think it’s more than I’m comfortable tackling myself. Planning on winching it on the trailer tomorrow and taking it to my mechanic. Other than changing fluid and filter I’ve never messed with transmissions and I’m hoping to get through one more season with this mower
