Hi all. I have an almost new mower deck from a B7100 HST that I bought. I have B6100 I'm going to be selling. Will the mower deck fit on the B6100? There is a power take off under my b7100 for the deck. Should that go with the mower? Will it fit on the B6100 that uses a clutch? Or just sell the tractor and deck separately?

I cannot answer the question about the fitting from one to the other. But you front PTO will not drive the 7100 MMM - the shaft is coming from two different directions.

However - all the decks that I bought I SPECIFICALLY asked if the PTO shaft came with it. I even bought a desk that was shot - just to get the PTO shaft!

That particular PTO shaft is hard to find - if bought separately, if goes for $700+

SO I would sell the deck and PTO shaft together as one unit.

If the Deck is a front facing driven gearbox then yes it will work with the b6100.
If it's a rear facing gearbox, for a mid PTO setup, then it depends if the B6100 has the mid PTO.

If the deck came off a B7100HST - it would be a rear facing PTO. The B6100 has a foot clutch or clutch pack for engaging the PTO?

I am assuming your B6100 has a clutch pack off the front crankshaft - thus the a gear box would need to point to the front also.

This B7100HST - have 4 bolts rims on front or 6 bolt rims?

Thanks all. The 6100 does not have the midship PTO but the7100 does. I was trying to ask if the midship PTO on the 7100 fits the 6100. And then maybe the deck would fit the 6100. It seems a lot of things are interchangeable between these 2 but not everything. I know the rims don't. The deck has a rear facing shaft. Reversible? To the front? It probably would need another or modified shaft and as you all pointed out, those are hard to find. How hard to find are the clutch/PTO for the front of the 6100. What is it? Electric?
Again. You all saved my butt with the chains on turf tires suggestion. Plenty of traction into the woods! But man it collects mud! (Not now. Too frozen)
