Recently acquired a b6100e, and when giving it throttle fast "pulling the lever or pushing foot pedal" it is slow to rev, when using high gear in 2nd or 3rd on the road on a slight incline it struggles to go faster and seems to bog and "roll coal" more. My cousin has a b7100 I think and the blip of the throttle it climbs rpms crisp and fast, seems they have the same engine. I notice one injector has a slight leak and I think the lines going to the injection pump 2 are leaking, would this be a possible cause?

I would first check the obvious things first -

Air filter?
Fuel Filter?

and fixing those leaks will help but I am not sure they are the root cause of your problems but depending on the leakage they could be.

AS for those engines - not the same but somewhat similar in function.

I will be checking that sometime this week, thanks for the reply, when taking apart the injectors will there be a copper washer, or runner o ring in between as a seal?

You mean you want to take off the feed tubes that are on the top of the injector pump??

On my L185 there is nothing to seal either en of the tube from the pump to the injectors. There is a taper that is clamped together to seal it.

If you remove the end at the injector pump you need to (must) hold the larger, lower nut so it doesn’t rotate. If it is leaking under that larger nut then you might want to get more advice on removing that nut from someone that can give you gold advice (which is not me)

It sounds like you have multiple issues, #1 would be you have injectors that are popping to early, you should pull all the injectors and have them tested.
Leaks are bad, but they won't cause it to smoke black.

Well outside of the leaks I'm sure I found the problem, I went to check the fuel filter this morning and noticed the fuel filter housing was caved in a bit, went to twist it off and when i came unthreaded i had to yank it off. The filter ripped in half, one half stuck to the water separator assembly and the other in the bowl. I cannot believe it was running, the amount of "mud" that squeezed out was crazy. I'm stuck in the water as of now, I need a new fuel filter bowl because it has lost shape and the steel part of the old filter is stuck in the bottom of the bowl. Before I mess with anything else I'm gonna get this replaced start it and see if that fixes the problem then I will start on the leaks. Geez people dont take care of anything!

Yup - item #2 on the quick check list!

When you replace and get it all back together - open the throttle WIDE open - crack the bleed screw and let her crank for 10 seconds - stop allow starter to cool and hit again UNTIL all bubbles are squirting straight fluid. I bet you will see a hellva difference - then you can fix the ol leaky parts!;)

Well, was able to find a fuel filter from tractor supply (can't believe they had one) picked it up went home and proceeded to install but as mention before the housing was "sunk" in, filter wouldn't fit back in. Grabbed my heat gun and slowly warmed up the plastic housing and slowly pushed the filter in. Bam! Put the filter assembly back on, cracked the bleeder screw as mentioned above, removed all air and tractor didnt hesitate to fire up, and wouldn't you know it no more sluggishness! Thanks for all the replies fellas, one more question as far as the line on the injection pump the bottom fitting is leaking pretty good, anything special I should know before removing it?
