Hi All, My B5001E is stuck in neutral. The Pto will not turn, Changing from hi to low also hasn't changed anything.
I have managed to get the tractor out of the field using the bucket to nudge along backward so the wheels are turning freely.
My question : where do I start interms of ruling things out. At the time it stopped working there was NOT a big bang/clunk etc. I was mowing using flail implement and had just reversed and went to move forwards again. Hydraulics are working fine.
Any guidance greatly apreciated.

I suspect the shifting fork may have come loose or out of position.

Does it feel like it is shifting and just not or does it feel different than before? I would try to lift the top cover of the transmission case and see if you can see if it looks okay. I think if you lift it too high it will get disconnected but then you can see if anything looks off and then reinstall the cover and shiftin forks

Clutch is cooked, or you have damaged / broken the input shaft.
I say this because you have neither movement of PTO function.
If it was a shifting fork issue, you would still have PTO function. ;)

So I have split the tractor at the gearbox end! here's what I have discovered.
Now What next? I don't even know what to call the shaft that's broken.Any help greatly appreciated.

Neither is from an exact manual for your tractor, but similar.....

Ouch, that's some serious damage!
It's very possible that something else is jammed up or broken to make it twist a shaft like that.
