You might want to borrow or rent a 60 inch Finish Mower to see if it solves your problems - rather than trade tractors as your first step.

I have an LX2610SU, and I run a 5 foot brush cutter and a 5 foot finish mower on it. I cut a 2.75 acre field with the finish mower every two to three weeks (we live on the coast, and our property is in north GA), and I do not have any issues. I mow with the loader on, and I have one relatively steep hillside on 1/4 of the field. The field looks great, and I do not have a problem with clumps of clippings. There certainly are clippings due to the mowing interval, but they virtually disappear in the sun the next day.

One big difference - I am cutting on the maximum height setting (5.25 inches); it is a field not a lawn. However, why do you mow so short? The field is mostly fescue. My lawn at home is centipede (front) and St. Augustine (back), and I mow them at 3.5 inches. I would cut them higher, but fungus is a big problem on the coast. Cutting your grass short is hard on the grass, and it prevents the grass from choking out the weeds.

For comparison when i use a B7800 i can tell a huge difference when compared to my B2650 in power. It just feels more commanding! when bush hogging the field...if that makes sense :)

With the B7800 it does not slow down with the loader and bush hog attached going up a slope. It's front end gets light to if you leave on the bush hog on and take off the loader but man i miss that nice seat and arms rest, tilting steering of the B2650.

No one has a LX3310 near by as of yet. Does anyone know if that has a turbo on it? The motor it uses is a Model # V1505. I have seen some sites saying that it uses a turbo.
Yes, both B3350 and LX3310 are turbocharged.

How much of a life span do they have? I know on cars they seem to die after 100k miles or so.
With proper maintenance, it will likely last the life of the machine. Turbos are very simple (for the most part).

When i got my B2650 i wanted the B3350 but the dealer did not have it and i heard it had issues so i bought the B2650 instead. Now i see the LX3310 with the same DPF as other kubota tractors.

I wanted the extra HP at the rear PTO and on the tractor itself of course, i have found when mowing with the B2650 with a 60" belly mower it will bog down and choke up on thick heavy grass unless i raise the mower a little and re-mow it.....
Heck when I had a B2650 with the 72" deck it barely bogged down and even then only a couple places in the yard where the weeds were really thick.

But for your situation I guess a LX3310's extra hp should help.
