Does the B2320 with Hydrostatic transmission have a foot brake on each side? Can someone post a picture of this view, I've never seen that before being new to the tractor thing. Thanks gang!

The "clutch" is on the left, and the brakes and hst are on the right. Whoever designed this must of had 2 right legs. Its probably the worst design flaw ever.

This morning is the first opportunity where i needed the steering brakes (plowing snow)and its a royal pita.

Traditionally tractors have always(and im talking back to 30s Farmalls) the brakes for both rear wheels on the right and the clutch on the left. With HST I guess they could have put a brk pedal on each side but they just don't?

The clutch has just been on the left for a long, long time, it's just the way it is!;)
And it would seam logical to keep the Clutch/PTO on the right as it has been for years.
Where would you like them to put it?

I'm not disagreeing with the placement of the clutch, the smaller lawn tractors I have seen have never even had a clutch for the PTO so I really don't know what it does or when and why to use it..I'm sorry for the lack of knowledge regarding this, just curious as to clutch and PTO usage.

Another one of life's mysteries. The Bxx20's have live PTO as opposed to independent, so they have to have a clutch. But then you have an independent PTO on the higher end B like B2630/3030 etc. and they still have a clutch same as the GL Series up through L40.

Things are changing and the new L60 no longer has a clutch and the brakes are on the left, new BX70's also moved the brake and new models will come out next year, so maybe those changes will make their way into the whole lineup over time.

I am one of the few who don't like left foot brakes, we have them on a John Deere and it is the only tractor out of eleven or so like that, so it can get confusing getting off a right foot brake machine onto one with them on the left.

Maybe duel station hst pedals are a better option

I think TYM had the ideal situation with steering brake pedals on theleft and a single brake pedal just for stopping etc. on the right.

I could go for that setup.
Me too, about a year and a half ago or so, I kept our M8540 out of about thirty feet of water when I had to hit the brakes instinctively, had I been on a tractor with left foot brakes, I would have delayed just long enough to go in.

ROTFLMAO!
Actually not a bad idea and I'd dam sure buy a duel station hst pedal if someone starts building them as I'm sure it would be better cheaper and much less painful than having a second right leg put on myself. It's such a dumb $$s pita useless pos can't believe they even bothered putting 2 pedals on them to begin with. That said the left brake pedals was the ONLY thing I liked on the JD's I looked at before buying my Kubota. Mine stop quickly when you take your foor off the hst pedal only use the brakes for parking as you sure can't use them while moving.

On the clutch question I'm actually surprised you have a pto clutch pedal on your hst when ( contrary to waht another poster wrote ) my B3030 hst has none.Of course your hst pedal should be in nutral position before engaging the pto anyway and much easier on the attachment and tractor if it at an idle when engaged to start out with.
