Are all BX Series 80 created equal?

I am considering purchasing a used BXpanded underarmor for my BX23S, and it is originally used on a BX2380. Will this fit my BX23S tractor? I couldn't find the answer on the BXpanded website, so I thought I would check here first and if no one knows, I will call BXpanded in the morning.

I'm not sure since you have extra Steel going on down there with it being beefed up for the BH.
Pic of mine mounted dunno if it helps any but I'll be going out there in a minute if you need measurements or more pics.

I was going to do one of these as well but I think I found out it interferes with the Mid pto driveshaft for the snowblower.

When my snowblower is on the BX, I don't worry about sticks poking the cooling fan blades.

Helpful hint #456: The spacers on the front supporting bolts are terribly thin conduit and fail easy. I took mine to the local Lowes and in the hardware section,. I found solid steel spacers, the same OD and with an ID that fit the BXExpanded bolts.

I thought you said your tractor just sits in the garage waiting for snow and its just lawn ornament in summer....so why bother? That statement just stuck in my head I thought it was funny. Ever get the backhoe dirty? LOL!

The backhoe hasn't been on the tractor since last fall. Until I get my new hip in January, I am just widdling away the days doing almost nothing. It is bone on bone, so even walking is difficult, as well as lying in bed. That is why I am up half the night reading OTT or playing solitaire.

I can answer this. Yes it fits. I had to move two hoses that went to my third function. I had it installed in about ten minutes. Now I can have it off and on by just dropping the mower all the way down unhook the two pins and off it goes. It installs the same way.

Doesn't sound like fun. I hope the replacement goes very well for you.

It should be a piece of cake! Got both hips done over 20 years ago thats when they went in through the butt cheek which is a longer recovery, now they go through the side. Youll be up and walking the same day! Best of luck to you!

I have the parts on order from a friend that is a funeral director. I figure that if I bring my own parts I can save a bundle. Sort of like buying a used tractor. :)
