I was at my place on the lake yesterday (AND might head there today) and my friend who owes it with me said.......can we take the boat out? I said the battery is back home on charge......bet your sweet a$$ that might be fixed today!

I have an oldie but goody boat, 1990 20' bayliner bowrider with a little teeny 4 banger, it will do 39 WTFO, but it sips gas fully loaded at 22 mph!

I'm tempted to put mine in but still too cold for fishing. We had a bigger boat but just never got the use out of it so we sold that and back to my old 16ft with a 30 on it, beer taste just as good and we catch more fish.

Most of the ice is gone,bays still hanging on. Very early for ice to go. Buddy wants his boat out of storage,to clean it up. My yard is drying up nicely, suprising as usually its soggy for weeks after snow goes.

Thanks Lil Foot... yes spring is very early this year, I'm trying to stay off my road-driveway right now so I don't tear it up. Their calling for high temps and sun for the next couple days so should be better soon.
