I've got a used 5' Woods brush mower (often called brush hogs, choppers, slashers, etc.). It seems to mow quite well being attached to an old L305. I live in Kansas. The blades are sharp, balanced, and the gear box has 80-90W oil.

Would this mower do a better job if it wasn't so far north? It's an "M-5, Woods-dixie cutter".

I'm in OH and story goes it will only cut best in the local OH area along "South Dixie Highway" and it does an ok job in the area's local to "North Dixie Highway".

It's just what they say. Ship it up here and I'll test it.

Coach, it's pretty ugly. I parked it under a big pine tree, and it's got a pretty good coating of pine pitch on it. Maybe that's rust proofing, 'cause I can't seem to find anything to remove it.
