Trying to troubleshoot reason my 3 point on my L175 bleeds down even with the motor running. Checked my manual, but it's not much on trouble shooting.
I'm very familiar with the hydraulics on my 640 Ford, but not so much on the K.
Here's the story. This problem just started. I have a 480lb. counter weight on it, so that has a lot to do with what's happening. The FEL doesn't bleed down, and it lifts a load with no problem, so that tells me it's not a pump problem, so it's an isolated problem with the lift piston. There is no problem lifting, it just bleeds down once it comes up no matter what height it stops at. Wonder what else such as a check valve not seating causing the problem.
Another thing. If I lift it all the way up, shut the motor off pull the lever back like I'm going to raise it, it lowers.
The valve under the seat that controls rate of descent seems to working as it should.
