I have a 2010 Kubota B3200 HSD. It has the V1505-4 cylinder engine. It has always started right up on the first start of the day with proper glow plug time.
NOW: The starter has to crank it 6-10 seconds, with glow cycle and when it starts, it hunts a bit.
I have looked at all of the fuel lines and return lines and they are all in great shape. Is there a check valve that might be stuck open letting me lose the fuel prime over night?
I worked a lot on the 80's VW and Mercedes Diesels and the little return lines that were in between the injectors would leak air and you would lose the fuel prime.
I would like to replace some of the small return lines. Where can I get the good genuine hose?

Are you sure all the glow plugs are good?
I remember those 2.5mm fabric covered hoses!
Used to keep a meter of it around.
Even used it to repair my 6.5 GMC diesel return lines.
Have yet to hear of this being an issue with Kubota engines.
Good Luck!

I have used the braided VW/Mercedes return line on many VW's and MBZ's. It doesn't seem to last a long time like the O.E. Kubota line.
All of my glow plugs are working. I also don't see grey-white smoke when trying to start the engine and it isn't firing. I could find the same symptoms on a VW diesel and Mercedes diesel and it was usually the return lines and sometimes the main 8mm ID braided frame to engine fuel lines.
I looked up and all of the fuel lines are available.

It's very unlikely to be a fuel line issue, especially not a return.
The injectors in these do not work the same as automotive injectors.
A leak in the fuel system before the injection pump will usually casue a no start condition as any air will be trapped in the injection lines.

Do check all the lines for moisture, and the filter housings for bad seals.
Then when that looks good move on to these

Normal causes:
Glow plugs that are either bad or slow to heat.
Low compression
Warn internally leaking injection pump
or the moist likely Bad injectors.

The injectors not spraying or popping properly will make it do exactly what you explained.

Injectors are easy to get checked out to see if they are working properly. Take them to any good shop that works on diesel’s, Kubota dealership or any other brand. They should have a test stand to check for proper pop off and spray patterns.

Yesterday, I removed all of the glow plugs. each one lit up properly and there was no evidence of blistering. So I re-installed them. So I don't think my issue is with them. My fuel filter bowl is full and clear all of the time and I changed the fuel filter at 177 hours. I have 210 hours on it now.
