After a recent purchase i have just replaced the cylinder head and got it running and noticed the oil light on at idle. Did a pressure test and basiclly non at idle and about 14psi at high revs. Did a bit of research and found out about the plug coming out of the end of the cam shaft. I stripped out the front and had to drop the front of the chassis down to get the timing gear cover off. Once off , No pug in the end of cam. Threaded and mad plug then welded as well. Will report on rebuild

Yes!!!!! Great success! Loads of oil pressure. The light actually stays off even after the engine is turned off for a short time and Hot. Around 55psi on the test gauge . Happy days :)

I have had the same problem with my B6100. Started to disassemble the front end and noticed a complication. The PTO shat is so long that it appears that I must dismount the engine from the front frame to get the gear cover off. Is that so?
