thanks for all the help on this one. Well I got it figured out. I bought some sulfur additive and dumped it in the tank, started it up, and it runs better now, no miss anymore.

Sulfur additive? Should I be running a sulfur additive in my fuel on this thing? I know it was kindof a lubricant for the fuel system.... could that be part of the problem...

The canister type is the best, in my opinion. I have one on my L275. It works great. I plug it in, and it will melt the snow off the hood. It warms up a lot more of the motor than a regular block heater.

If your not lugging the engine too much at the lower engine rpm, I'd say go for it. but if the engine is lugging, than use the higher engine rpm, as long as the actual PTO rpm is 540.
