I have been asked acouple different times about if I have a block heater or not on my tractor.. Well no its not a block heater, but it does heat the antifreeze. Its better than a block heater, as it moves the water throughout the engine.... I used a large heater, its a 1500 watt. It was on a pickup I had at one time.. Here are some pictures to show it. Pics are better than words..
First where the heater gets its water.

The heater, and where it is mounted on the side of the tractor.. just behind the oil dipstick.

And where the the heater pushes the heated water..

there is a check ball in the heater to keep the water from running back through it.... if its 0* out it starts right up after being plugged in for about an hour..
