Yes it has beeen a llooooonnngggg process that was finally solved! Thanks for everyone's help.

The culprit was a missing plug to screen galley. Extension shows missing plug hole.

Lucky for you it's not an L2250.

Notice how clean the gears are. NO sludge what so ever. That's why all I did was look at pickup tube and reinstalled pan.

In pic pump is off, bottom of crank gear. port for pump, gasket for pump and o rings.

I believe that is the only possible explanation. Thanks for your help, really appreciate this site!!

Easier said than done.

Pour some oil into port for pump @ oil filter housing, started up, oil sprayed out....bout as much as I put in. Go figure.
