Information on Splitting An L2250DT with frozen Release Bearing ?

Have you tried propping or tying the clutch down and running it around in high gear, up and down hills? Usually the problem is the disk sticks to the flywheel or pressure plate, not that the pressure plate won't release. The idea is to put as much torque on the clutch as possible. Some people...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Update: I added a little refrigerant, probably 3-4 ounces (my scale setup failed), and drive tested it on a couple of our hottest afternoons. I don't see any oiliness of a leak, so I think it's good. This whole episode is typical for me. Seems like I always have to finish somebody else's job...

    B7200 ROPS

This may not apply to Australia and old Land Cruisers, but I think automotive and tractor seat belts work differently. My understanding is that auto belts have an inertial latch that only latches upon impact. The seat belt I installed on my tractor has a ratchet, once you pull it out and latch...

    12V outlet for ROPS M7060HD?

With the fuse tap, you remove an existing fuse and put it in the tap to power the existing circuit. Then install a new fuse in the other slot of the tap to power the pigtail to your new circuit. Make sure the tap is oriented correctly, the instructions tell you how.

    12V outlet for ROPS M7060HD?

My L35 had an extra space in the fuse block, but it didn't have any contacts. So I just used a fuse tap and a 10A fuse. My fuse block is under the dash, so it was a short run. I did have to trim the cover a little to get it back on. You can get one at Advance, Amazon, etc.

    Finish mower front roller

If I had one on my lawn tractor, the front lip on my mower deck wouldn't have dents from the occasional encounter with roots.

    Attachment Hydraulic Hose Pressure Relief

If they're not connected together, they may not be at the same pressure. I'm a lousy artist, so I'll try to explain with words. The forces on the two sides of the piston are equal (but opposite). The force on the cylinder end is the area of the piston Ap times the pressure P. The force on the...

May not have been Rustoleum brand, but it was a rust converter, not paint. I'll probably get Ospho brand next time.

    Front loader for a B7200

On the TL720, the pins are nominally 30 mm. Many of them have the zerks recessed in the end of the pin, to protect the fitting I suppose. As @TheOldHokie said, most have bolts through tab retainers. I think this prevents the pin from rotating, limiting wear to the inner part

    Front loader for a B7200

My pins are considerably larger than that, but they are steel on steel. I'm pretty sure that's common on small tractors. I think that's why the lube interval is only 10 hours (plus, they're not sealed).

    Attachment Hydraulic Hose Pressure Relief

In theory, IF the cylinder is not fully extended to start with, the total volume of the cylinder can expand by extending slightly. This will allow the fluid to expand without building pressure. But the two hoses have to be coupled together, otherwise you have two closed systems and the piston...

Thinking about under fence weed control

By field fence, I assume you mean mesh of some sort. I've seen weedeater-type trimmers that attach to your mower that can trim under a fence and deflect around the posts, but I don't think it would work very well around your kind of fence. I understand your aversion to chemicals. You could...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Typo, yeah 134. He did offer to evac and recharge, but I figured we'd get the same result. It's been brutal here too. We had a heat advisory 'til 1 am this morning. I'm supposed to work on a bridge tomorrow morning.

I'm glad there are still a few diagnosticians (new word) left in the business. It seems most people would rather pay for new, unneeded parts than for a technician's time and knowledge. Keep up the good work.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I took it in (body shop) this morning first thing. The service guy took it back. When he came back he said the clutch, compressor, aux fan are all working, which I knew. They put it on their machine and 'everything' checks out. He runs through hot, humid, recirc, etc etc. I repeat but it didn't...
