    B2789 Snowblower Issue

Is your 2nd stage 3 blades or 4? 4 blades seem to work better. Also, how much gap between 2nd stage impellor blades & housing? The bigger the gap the less it will throw. Had one (3 blades, worn, large gap) on my B7100 & the only way it would throw decent was to run it in 2nd PTO speed (780 rpm?)...

    Decompression lever

Cable was seized up on my 1980 B7100 when I bought it. Got a universal choke cable from Napa & cut sheath & inner cable to fit & it worked great for 3 yrs. Tractor has since been replaced with a B2320.

    Clamp on pallet forks

Built my own from 2 in. sq. tubing & a piece of stress proof steel pipe. Forks adj. for width. Had to add center bracket after 1st attempt with black iron pipe bent with a heavy lift. They are super handy & easy to mount/dismount.

    Finish Mower for B7100

Ran a 60" Bush hog brand finish mower on my 1980 B7100 & it worked great. Have since sold both & am using a 2012 B2320 with a 48" King Kutter brush hog for brush & grass. With reasonably sharp blades it does a passable job on grass.

sprayed more oil/light grese back along shaft & with vise grips on shaft was able to work it back & forth & finally full travel. Can adj by hand now using knob.

    3 pt hitch speed control

My 2012 b2320 has semi seized up over the winter. Used the bush hog last fall & adjusted for that weight/speed ok. Installed rear blade for snow clearing in Dec. & had to use vise grips on the shaft as it turned so hard I was afraid to break the knob.

    Forks on l185?

Nope. Made a new wear strip of 3/8" × 4" mild steel (when tractor was first purchased) that extends past the wimpy strip welded to bucket that showed a lot of wear when scraping driveway after clearing snow. Front edge of bucket is strong! I just lifted my 4' king kutter bush hog easily out of...

    Forks on l185?

Made forks for bucket on my B2320, think I got the idea from an older post here. They are the handiest implement I own. I added a center brace but atill have problems bending the bar that passes through the bucket. Going to check on sched 80 pipe. Switched from pipe to solid 1" bar & it still...

My simple ballast weight, small footprint

Similar to mine, made from a piece of heavy guage railroad track incorporated in a log skidding/trailer hitch. Stays on the 3 point hit h practically all the time. Gardening implements I made (cultivator, hiller, harrow & potato plow) all connect to the 2" receiver welded to bottom of the rr...

    Skidding Frames - Budget build

I built a practically identical middle buster that plugs into a 2" receiver welded to my 3 pt. hitch/ballast assembly which is a hunk of heavy guage railroad track with a cat 1 pins welded on, a top link attach point & a mount for 2 suitcase weights, works awesome. Middle buster will bury itself...

    3pt finish mower

Used a 4' finish mower & a 4' brush hog when I had a B7100 & both worked great. They were Cat 1 mowers & only required some fiddling with the length of the top link to get the correct mowing height & they lifted completely off the ground for transport.

Grey market FEL on L1-24 Sunshine

Any progress on this problem? Worked in electronics for 38 yrs. but the hydraulics on these tractors bamboozle me to death. Can't wait to see the solution. I have a 2012 B2320 HST with FEL & P/S - may it continue to work as flawlessly as it does now.

    Log forks for my MX5100

Made forks for my 2012 B2320 from pics on an old post here. After initial pics & some abuse, I had to add a center brace to bucket as pipe would bend if forks (1/4" wall 2×2 sq. tube) were slid closer to center. Cut up a couple of downed spruce for firewood this week & used forks to bring logs...

B2320 front axel...80w90 gear oil or UDT??

Posted here a while ago about leaking seal on right front of my 2012, b2320. No visible axel vent & when I pulled the fill plug/dip stick on the left front there was a noticeable pop of escaping air. Drilled an angled 1/16" thru top of cap, drained both sides & refilled with 80w90. Leaking has...

    Shattered rear lower window

I use a chain instead of a top link on my B2320 with 4 ft. King Kutter brush hog, to allow cutter to raise up in the same situation as OP & not get in a bind. Still allows cutter to be raised for transport.

    BX25D Forks for FEL

I think I basicly copied your idea from your original post for the bucket on my B2320. Slid sched 40 1/2" black iron pipe inside sched 40 3/4" pipe & welded up the ends to tie them together before drilling for lynch pins. The forks are 36" & were orignally fabbed up for a 3 point lift on my...

    B2320 front spindle leaking

I have a 2012 B2320 with 950 hrs. It was one of a fleet of 12 that were owned by a Xmas tree farm & traded back in after 2 years use for new tractors. They were used for mowing/spraying with 3 point attachments. The dealership serviced the tractors, installed new LA304 loaders, & advertised them...

Overrunning clutch for short shaft PTO

Maybe they all didn't have it but my 1980 B7100 had an ORC internal to the shaft, you could hear it when rotating the shaft by hand. Ran a 3 point finish mower & a brush hog no problem getting shoved around - clutch in tractor stops.

    Bucket receiver design

Built something similar for my 2012 B2320. Works great for lifting & moving my boat/launching. Bottom receivers are for my version of bucket forks. They can mount inside or below bucket, use electric impact to install/remove. Not the best setup but it works. Going to fabricate a 3 pt. attachment...
