In your neck of the country - I would use the UDT! Many will disagree however!
IF you could get your hands on S-udt2, I would use that.

Do you have available a synthetic 80w90? Great choice if you can get it and use it!

Yes it would be synthetic gear oil!
I heard its offers more protection then the UDT
I don't think we get the UDT 2

Posted here a while ago about leaking seal on right front of my 2012, b2320. No visible axel vent & when I pulled the fill plug/dip stick on the left front there was a noticeable pop of escaping air. Drilled an angled 1/16" thru top of cap, drained both sides & refilled with 80w90. Leaking has stopped & been using 4wd & loader a lot in the last month.

Without opening ol Pandora's box, anything synthetic will pour better, last longer and work better than anything NON synthetic. Synthetics don't cause seals to leak, it is not slicker, it just works BETTER, and if time is to be measured, lasts much longer while protecting contacting surfaces better!

I've posted this many times in the past, and whether you want to take their word for it or not.............I discussed all this at a Kubota dealer show I attended with three reps from Kubota Canada.

They said there is supposed to be pressure in the front axle, thus why there is no visible vent. That is meant to keep moisture and contaminants from ENTERING past the seals. They told me do not vent the front axle.
They also said many people panic when they see oil stains and that they can't differentiate between sweating and an actual leak.

As far as oil they said you can use either, but unless you are always in an extremely hot climate they prefer UDT.
