    Hydraulic pressure bleeding off....

Using the Grapple yesterday I realized the pressure appears to be bleeding off rather rapidly after closing the Grapple unless I keep tapping the button every 20-30 seconds. Does this sound normal or should I start looking for an issue. I understand that pressure can bleed off overnight, but I...

    UNIFOREST SKIDDING WINCH 35M

Anyone use or seen one of these in action? I'm thinking it would be OK for our Tree Farm since I can cut the logs to 16'-6" and just drag out but would the B2650 be to small? Also looking to use for pulling out 40'-50' Western Red Cedar logs off our property to build our house. Wondering if I...

    V5060 Plow Issue

Plow on the RTV lifts, drops and swings Left but won't swing Right. I have an idea or two myself and will be checking power to the solenoids but where would you start or ??? I've also unplugged and re-plugged the connector multiple times thinking it may have been dirty connections but that...

    Grapple Modification

Since a lot of the debris we grab with the Grapple is tree branches and such, we always end up with something poking thru. Figuring the grill guard was good start, I also added some expanded metal to the Grapple in between the teeth. I might still add an extension to the top with expanded...

    Home Brew Root Ripper

Being as I have more time and scrap than money... 😄 Designed this to bolt to the side of the bucket. I have enough stumps to yank that changing to dedicated tools was going to be a PITA so I thought I'd try this first. The 'Ripper' will stick out 12" below the bucket. Cut from 1/4" steel, the...

    Crazy Compactor Idea?

OK, been looking to pick up an inexpensive compactor (HF) for all the gravel work we are getting ready to do. That said, I'm wondering if I can make a large heavy wheel to do the same thing. When we backed our 5th wheel under the lean too, we noticed that after going over the same area 2-3...

Tractor Chipper vs Stand Alone Unit?

What would you all prefer? 4" would be the largest we put thru anything (with 3" and under be the norm). Wife would prefer a Stand Alone so she can haul behind the RTV and I'm leaning that way as it means less tractor hours and stand alone motors are much cheaper to replace.

    Personal Tractor Fan

Looking to put a fan on the Tractor to help keep me cool and keep the bugs off me during bug season. Thinking of squeezing a small electric radiator fan that is rated at 800CFM to the underside of the canopy I am building that would blow straight down and maybe even 'twist' to the rear a little...

    Snow Chain Advice

Need to pick up some chains for the B2650 and RTV-X1100C. The B2650 is running the R4 tires. The RTV-X1100C is running the HDWS (25x10-12) tires. The RTV is what we have the snow blade mounted on. Figured with the cab, it would be warmer! :) Would like to know the pro's and cons of what...

    Time for new B2650

Pulling the plug here in the next 3 weeks tops. Will do the loader with the SSQA and the 3rd function up front as a grapple is also on the menu. Pallet forks and Flail mower also on the immediate list. Property is wooded and tractor may also be used to plow snow a little. R1 tires as the few...
