Hi all, Set about replacing couplers on the front driveshaft and I've noticed that the splines that come out of the front diff are completely worn down. What are my options? How do I remove the shaft out of the front diff?

Just in the paddock mainly grass when I require a bit more traction when pushing bush and brush out of the way.

Hi all, I have a 4wd l2850 shuttle shift tractor with FEL. The last time using it i noticed when in 4wd there is a serious knocking directly under the seat, doesn't do it when going straight more when turning or clutching out. Runs fine in 2wd no noises at all. What could it be?

Hi all, My L2850 seems to idle a bit rough, the idle seems to low as the tractor shakes a bit and the idle seems to be jumpy. I don't have and RPM gauge. Is there anyway of adjusting the idle on these tractors? Does someone have some instructions to do so? Cheers.

Hi all, I have an l2850, currently the rpm gauge is not functioning and I'm in the process of fixing it. What would be the best way to achieve 540rpm or 1000rpm at the pto with no rpm gauge? How high should I set the hand throttle? Thanks

Hi all, I have a L2850DT, is shuttle shift with 4 gears with high and low range. The trans shifts smoothly from 3rd to 4th gear on the move. Does anyone know if they have a wet or dry clutch type. Cheers.

Does the L2850 have a wet clutch? Its partially synchronised.

Hi all, Hope everyone had a great Christmas. I own a L2850 shuttle shift 4wd with FEL, just wondering if its safe to use an oil additive such as a friction modifier in the transmissions hydraulic fluid. Will it effect the clutch or FEL on the machine - not sure if its a wet or dry clutch...

Hi all, Just took my new to me L2850 for a good run today, runs well but I have a few concerns. Installed a temp gauge and the engine temps never got above 65 degrees Celsius when I was running it. Check the coolant temp with a portable infared thermometer on the coolant hose and it's showing...

Thanks for your reply, As I said above, the gauges weren't there, I'd assume by the wear on the tyres 3000-4000 hours. Is there anything I should look out for on these tractors?
