Trailering accident - Any idea what happened here?

That's my opinion as well. If this happened in transit, the binders wouldn't be on the ground under the trailer. I'm thinking either the throttle got stuck while loading onto the trailer and the tractor just kept pushing forward, or he was taking it off of the trailer and the rear of the truck...

Man this is awesome. I love seeing the stuff you come up with. Now I need a welder!

Trailering accident - Any idea what happened here?

This is not my picture. Just wondering what happened here. Loading gone wrong? You can see a binder or two under the trailer, so it looks like he was in the process of loading the tractor onto the trailer.

L3901 with Land Pride SA20 hyd auger

Yep! A post hole digger is a must when using a 3pt because you have to finish them off by hand, every time. With the hydraulic auger, I haven't needed them.

L3901 with Land Pride SA20 hyd auger

I'm constantly telling my buddies about your build thread for that thing. Super jealous that mine isn't setup like that, and makes me wish I had more concrete projects so I could justify modifying my SA20 lol.

L3901 with Land Pride SA20 hyd auger

A few things there: 1. Having it in the center sounds like a good idea until you realize that you can't see the tip of the bit, so you HAVE to have someone on the ground guiding you. 2. Having it mounted on the side, I can get closer to existing fences/buildings/poles 3. You can put enough...

L3901 with Land Pride SA20 hyd auger

I used this to dig some 18" holes yesterday. No problems at all.

L3901 with Land Pride SA20 hyd auger

Ah, I must have read it wrong then. I thought the B2650 had slightly more GPM than the L3901. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

L3901 with Land Pride SA20 hyd auger

In clean sandy soil I'm sure a fast spinning 3pt would probably work better. In the videos, I'm digging through roots that are coming off of the tree and the auger didn't even know they were there.

L3901 with Land Pride SA20 hyd auger

While it spins slow, it doesn’t necessarily dig slow. It digs faster than my friends 3pt auger just due to the ability of applying down pressure. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

L3901 with Land Pride SA20 hyd auger

No problem. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out. I was nervous about the SA20, but I'm glad I did it.

L3901 with Land Pride SA20 hyd auger

I couldn’t find any information on this setup when ordering my tractor package. I could only find the Messicks video showing a B2650 (higher hydraulic flow than the L3901) and a few forum threads discussing various other brands of hydraulic augers. I ordered mine with the Land Pride 3rd...

    She’s home!

Yeah your L4060 should have quite a bit more hydraulic flow than my 3901, so it’ll work a bit better for you. Having the option to mount the motor to the side rather than the middle is really nice, I can actually see exactly where the tip is landing. After digging 80-some holes with my friends...

    She’s home!

I had to remove a post yesterday as we originally put it in a spot to allow our gate to be closed with a chain, then decided we wanted to use a latch system, and the post was too close. So I pulled it out and dig a new hole next to it. No problem at all. It spins slow, but the torque is there...

Yeah I uploaded them from Tapatalk and I can’t figure out how to resize them. I used to be able to select their size before uploading them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Will do! It was a big leap of faith, as I haven’t been able to really find any information on this combination. I took some more pictures so I figured I’d share Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Yeah I wanted to keep it fairly simple but when me and the wife sat down to figure out everything we needed, things got a bit more complicated lmao. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Super excited about my new toy(s). But as luck would have it, it’s pouring out right now so play time will have to wait. Just the 5 seconds that I’ve been on it to get it off the delivery trailer, can tell that this L3901 is a completely different machine from my old B2301. I’m looking...
