Working with fluid filled rear tires

I would like to flip the tires on the rear of my L3901 to get a bit wider stance. From what I have seen I just remove the tire on both sides and flip them to the other side to gain about 7 inches in width....problem these tires are heavy to begin with and these have fluid in them. Any tricks...

I was using tractor last evening and all was good. Hoped back on to start it up....dash worked as it should but nothing on ignition. I have had the pro switch cause this before so jiggled it...nothing. I tried the seat switch and still nothing. Then I noticed the code on dash OPC which I...

    Open circuit won't start....

I was using my tractor last evening and I turned it off to do some work. When I tried to start it again...it would not start and had OPC in the hour reader....I have had this happen before with the PTO level needing to be jiggled and it would start....this time it was the HST pedal. The tractor...

Lifting animals with antlers with a loader

Here is my set up. I do lift the deer with loader to hang it in my barn for a day or two and then back on the loader for skinning and butchering.

    Pro shaft continues to spin

My guess is your PTO lever is not disengaged. The switch can get dirty or loose and not make good contact. I spray mine with WD40 or some kind of oil occasionally to keep the contact working. This happens on my L3901

    headlights ?

In my case the headlights are not bright enough because the loader blocks the lights. I added lights on the ROPS, two forward and one shining back on blade.

L3301 problem stopping on hill 2WD

Keep it in 4x4 all the time as long as you aren't going on dry pavement! This way I don't forget when hauling a load down a slope.

Four-wheel drive; Not all tires turning

As an L3901 owner (HST) I found the tractor to be pretty light weight...so had the rear ag tires filled and man does that make a difference. Do you have your tires filled? If not I would look into that to increase ground engagement.

    First Tractor Recommendation

You will love the tractor....get whatever tire you decide on filled...It will make the tractor more stable especially if you have any slope at all on your properties...It will also give better traction when pushing or pulling something. I could not believe the difference with "beet juice" added...

What's up with the used L3301's?

I have an L3901 HST and have had many regens at 125 hours...just up the RPM's until the light goes out and work away. Some complain about the regens but I have had no problem with them and if it helps the environment even a little bit...seems like a fair trade off.

    L3901 White Smoke

What Wolfman said....never should see smoke from under the hood. I own an L3901 HST and have never seen white smoke. If the tractor is running its emissions cycle, it will get really hot and you can smell it cooking off the particles captured in the chamber, but never any smoke. I would check...
