    2680 runs hot

Thanks for all the helpful tips. After cleaning the way clogged radiator, she runs cool as a cuc! It's amazing how much I've forgotten over the years! I've washed a few radiators clogged with seeds and such in my younger days. Truth is I was going to check that before I ran it again. I wanted...

    2680 runs hot

Thanks. I was going to blow out the fins but wasn't holding out much hope for that. I will be doing some mowing this afternoon after cleaning the radiator. If that doesn't help, I'll go down the list y'all have given me. I've been mowing with a lawnmower to keep the hours down, but that mower...

    2680 runs hot

Mowing even at 80^, I have to go down to idle after about 30 mins. to let it cool down. After that it's about 15 mins. The temp guage goes to top of the white and looks like it will continue to rise to the red. Forgive me if this has already been talked about. Coolant is good and screen is...

    80 series bx hydro fan

It does look something like that. It's a factory job. It came brand new in 2018. I guess it works.

Has anyone lost one? I see mine has a small but effective looking guard. Has yours been defeated? Dave B

    Easy BX HST fan replacement

That's the way I remember my bx2200. I can try to get a picture of it; it be hard to get one since I put the mower back on. It's definitely a guard for the fan, and original equipment. My little bx2680 came straight out of the shipping crate. DB

    Easy BX HST fan replacement

Late to the party here, but I have a question regarding a small guard over the fan on my 2680 fan. I think my old tractor, a bx2200 lacked any protection at all, and I'm not saying that this guard is fully sufficient, but do they all come with this? is it later production? Did my old one have...

    BX 2380 Hour Meter

I'll be verifying mine as soon as I can. I've been suspicious of this but haven't thought of how to verify while working. What method do you use?

BX2370 and mud--are my expectations out of wack?

Thank you! I was never able to locate a source for possible emergency.

BX2370 and mud--are my expectations out of wack?

Well, I think the fronts on my last little BX were Goodyear titans and the rears were Maxxis. I forget what the Kubota R1s are branded now, but the tread is exactly the same; probably contracted specs or something. But these are clearly marked brand whatever and in smaller print "Lawn Trac" I...

BX2370 and mud--are my expectations out of wack?

I would say they are completely proportional to the ones on the big greenie, and considering that, the bx rears are 26" tall and the fronts are 18" so... the ones on the big greenie are what, 80+"? The first ones below the john deere do look deeper by proportion. That said, Them bx tires are the...

BX2370 and mud--are my expectations out of wack?

Oh yeah! Honestly though, the proportions are very similar to mine, which are titans.

BX2370 and mud--are my expectations out of wack?

His tires are R1 (per kubota). They are available on new bx tractors. My bx 2200 had them and my bx 2680 has them. They do provide more traction than the "r4s" seen on many bxs. The dealer I bought my new one from didn't even know they were available. I agree though, that they aren't ags. Mine...

BX2680 mmm cutting height control dial

Forgot to mention that I turn the dial while giving a little lift on one side.

BX2680 mmm cutting height control dial

When mine wont move from top or to top, when the tension is off, i will get off and lift the left side of the deck just a little with my hand. This works for me every time and the dial moves easily. DB

rear blade- 6 way or 3 way

I've used the offset too. I've only offset by one hole, and with your tractor, you should still be able to turn your blade 180 at least on the 1st offset hole with a 6' blade of course. A 5' works with only the tiny tractors when angled. DB

rear blade- 6 way or 3 way

I have the 5' version of the EA blade shown in the EA link in an earlier post by NIW. I've used it with a BX2200. I couldn't use the tilt to much because of the lift range on that tractor which starts to low and only raised the blade about 8-9" off the ground. The tractor did pull a full blade...
