    Glow Plugs

The B2650 glow plugs are controlled manually with the key, which offers an advantage for the situation you are describing. I traded a B2650 in on a L45 which has automatic glow plug control which varies the time they are on depending on how warm the engine is. They still cycle on for a short...

    Glow Plugs

Sheepfarmer is correct, you have to hold the key between the on and start position for the glow plugs to work on the B2650. The light will come on when you are in the right position. It's kind of funny some models have automatic glow plug operation and others don't. Not that it's a big deal, but...

    Stump Grinder for B2650 attachment

That's a nice stump grinder too, I would guess the B2650 will have a little more power to get through as well. A friend has a bx25d and you need to keep the rpms higher on it than my B2650 did or it bogs down. Even using a 4" wood chipper the B2650 had enough power to feed almost anything that...

    Stump Grinder for B2650 attachment

http://woodlandmills.ca/product/wg24-stump-grinder/ Check this model out, it's pricing is in CDN$ With hst transmission you could just go as fast as it allows, same as a brush hog, if it starts to bog down just ease up a bit.

2650 VS 2501 backhoe performance and snowplow performance

I have a B2650 with a BH77 and it's a pretty capable for it's size, but a heavier tractor would be better if space allows for it. The BH77 is not meant for heavy use and while it is fairly strong, it's not built heavy enough in my opinion. I would look at a B26 or an L45 if there are any around...

B2650/ BH77 vs elm stump video

That's the Kubota factory mechanical thumb, very handy and used often to pick up stuff with. There's people that have rigged up hydraulic thumbs on this model, but the mechanical one works ok for most people.

Makes sense, thanks for the tip.

B2650/ BH77 vs elm stump video

Thanks for the tips. Digging the cutting edge/tooth bar in does little to help in this case, as soon as you pull with the backhoe the tractors front lifts up. The brakes do little as well, tractor still gets pulled around easy. When I asked the service guys at the dealership if I was being too...

B2650/ BH77 vs elm stump video

Here is a video of me being a bit too hard on my B2650 and BH77 leading to a stabilizer arm breaking along with the cylinder. The weld let go on the arm due to poor penetration. Kubota and the dealership replaced the parts without hassle and was back together in two days...

    Kubota B2650 Spreading Gravel

So far I've removed around 25-30 stumps with this backhoe, some go fairly quick, some take 4-5 hours. That one has a rock inside the root ball, and had some smaller stumps beside it with the roots all tangled up. It took about five hours and once it was loose it was too heavy to pull out of the...

    Kubota B2650 Spreading Gravel

Thanks, and yes, the backhoe has been used a fair amount already, removed some fair size stumps with it.

    Kubota B2650 Spreading Gravel

Posted on TBN, but figured I'd share here as well. Made a video of my B2650 spreading some gravel along the edge of the driveway after removing some stumps. Not the most interesting, but in case anybody in thinking about a B2650 and wanted to see one in action. https://youtu.be/YQk_4NgBgxA...

    Stihl MS362 C-M

Bought a 362 cm last year to replace an older saw about the same size. It has lots of power, starts easy, and seems better on fuel than my old saw. There's no choke or fuel mixture screws to deal with, and seems well built. Would definitely recommend one, there seems to be some updates on the...

    B2650 rear hydraulics

Excuse the unfinished parts, got the tractor in the late fall and been steady working at it when the weather cooperates but only so much you can do outside in the winter. I don't have a shop to work in, so I am going to wait for some warmer weather and finish cleaning up the cut out in the panel...

    B2650 rear hydraulics

Did you make that cover for the third function valve yourself? I have the same valve and was surprised they leave it so exposed on the side like that. Was going to build one pretty much how yours is done. Nice clean looking install.

    B2650 rear hydraulics

Hi, There's a few options with the B2650 for rear remote hydraulics. If you have a backhoe you can go the cheaper route and make your own setup using the power beyond and there's a drain hose that can be tied into for return to tank. Then there's the kit from Kubota that is basically just...
