    FDR 1672 mower

I was mowing today on a L2501 with a FDR 1672 mower. Unfortunately I very slightly ran over some river rock and the Mower stopped spinning, the PTO Shaft was working not the blades. Also I broke a blade. Honestly it barely got into the rock (size of eggs). My question where do I look first...

    R4's did well

I have a L2501 with R4's as for use of the tractor is 89% mowing 2 acres, snowplowing flat drive way/parking is roughly 90 ft by 100 ft. At times I wish I had turf rubber but then if I had turf I wish I had R4s. The only down side of R4s is they can and will dig into your turf when sharp...

I ran out of fuel, help

Thanks you everyone for your advice. I went to you tube and Messicks had a video on there about this situation. They said that the older tractors you would have to deal with the injectors, but no longer. Just fill it up and wait for the fuel gets to where it needs to be. After many attempts...

I ran out of fuel, help

I know better, but today I ran out of fuel in my L2501 while mowing. I have topped off the tank but after many attempts it only turns over with obviously no fuel getting to where it should be. Is there a trick I should know? Or do I just keep turning it over until the fuel gets through. I am...

Wheel fit L series vs B

I have found a set of turf tires and wheels that came off a B7100, the tire size provided per ad are fronts: 20.5x8.0-10, rears:29x12.50-15 These are different sizes then on the tires on my L2501. My question is will the the wheel off a B7100 fit my L2501? Pretty sure they won't but would...

    FEL SSQA Clocking

I hope I do not have a major problem. Yesterday I was moving rocks for landscaping with my L2501 with a LA525 FEL. Today when I started using it the bucket came unhooked on just the left hook up where it hooks to the bucket. Now the two cylinders do not synchronize with each other. In other...

    Trailer load ?

I own a 2501 and need to know if it can handle pulling a 20 or 24 foot pontoon boat on trailer. I love a quarter mile to a lake public access and would purchase a pontoon boat if the teacher can handle this??
