I own a 2501 and need to know if it can handle pulling a 20 or 24 foot pontoon boat on trailer. I love a quarter mile to a lake public access and would purchase a pontoon boat if the teacher can handle this??

Teach, yes it can.....but..........
Like Clint Eastwood said " a man has gotta know his limitations!"
What is the slope of the ramp? IS the 2501 HST? IF so - place in low and 4wd - that is not a great idea(4wd on hard surface) but the best solution - thus brakes on all 4 wheels when backing to ramp.
If nothing else - slow and easy - with the emphasis on slow....and easy!
I have a 20 ft pontoon and a L2501. Have pulled it all around my yard including some steep slopes. Never had any problem. I believe the 2501 will out pull my F150.
Thanks for the replies, Yes Hokie it is Hst and As Far As The Slope Of Access It Is Concrete And Looks To Be Not A Steep Grade. Sorry About All The Capital letters not sure why they come up that way.
I have a 26' Twin Vee Power Catamaran. It has a pair of DF175 Suzuki outboards. I am estimating its weight on the trailer at 6000 Lbs +/-. I move it around with my L3901 without issue (I have a ball on the box blade).
My question: If you buy the boat, how will you get it back ans forth from the shop or the gas station to the house? I think you'd be the only fellow rolling into the launch on a Kubota.
