I did d knuckle head a broke the right steering linkage on my 2501, this is the adjustable one. Have purchased a new one, know the challenge of removal on. The part that broke was nearest the center pin. I talked with mechanic and he said the end of where the threads are is tapered and is drawn in tight. To remove he said I would have to pound on real hard, but because of location it is difficult to get to. am using a long 3/4 bolt to reach from above through hole but is going no where. I have PB blaster sokeing and hoping this will help. Any other ideas?

I think 100 td is telling you what you need to know, but your description, spelling and punctuation makes it somewhat difficult to follow your problem!

I could have it wrong, perhaps he has broken the base of the tie rod end off and is left with the broken taper in situ which he is trying to remove?

Thanks for your help, I went to a local automotive store and purchased a pickle fork, three pounds with hammer and it was off. I knew there was a special tool to do this, probably would of broken something if I kept on. Thanks again, this forum is great.
