    L3560 trailer

Who built the trailer? They are not all made equally for sure. I had a friend snap off the rear three feet when they loaded their B2650 cab. That was a 7K rated trailer. They got it beefed up significantly and put rear landing gear on it. I have an ATC aluminum car trailer and it has zero issue...

Looking for Alternatives to KTAC Insurance

Exactly. I have mine with my State Farm agent. it is definitely cheaper than Kubota. And you can choose your deductible. I had one claim years ago and they covered it without question. There was some follow-up addendums to the initial claim and they just sent a check to cover those items, too.

    KTAC insurance totaling my BX

Homeowners, no. But with a personal articles policy or an inland marine policy (varies by company) You can get a stated value policy that'll pay out the full replacement price (what you paid for it) no matter how long you own it. Not just while it's financed.

    Disappointed!

FWIW if he got the turf tires they CAN be completely out of air and unless you have some load on the front or turn on pavement you might not notice it. The side walls are that stiff.

    BX 1860 steering problem

I wouldn't throw the baby out with the bath water. Did you read the above posts other than replacing all the parts? A lot of things to check FIRST.

Lift arm swivel balls rusted to the pin

I keep my tractor inside to prevent a lot of rust. Kroil. PB, Aceton/ATF all work good. The trick is prevention. I coat all moving parts with WD or their new Silicone version to prevent it from rusting. I'd rather prevent than fight.

    BX2370 - Loader Removal

Whatever you do make sure it LEVEL. You may get it off but hooking back up won't happen without two people. Mine is on and off weekly for mowing. I can do it in about 2 min.

    Brake-In RPM's for First 50 Hours?

Lug means working it super hard at low RPM. If yours has a 3000 rpm max you'll be fine to use 2700 or so after 8-10 hours. By then they aren't going to be hurt from the use. If you are using a MM Mower the revs need to be up to mow. Otherwise they cut like crap. Don't baby the engine. They...

    Piranha Toothbar

You guys can get a good quality step bit for $7 and a really good one for $15. Took 5 min to drill and install. This thing works great. Moved 5 yards of clay like dirt regrading the back of my rental house this week. Got the bucket expander for other work. Looks good but needs better...

    Warranty Covers Hydraulic Hoses?

I call it dealers that don't give two schiznits after the sale. Especially the NEW on trailer tractor. I understand wear items not being covered and get it. A little sidetrack. I got similar cold shoulder from my local dealer when a $3 knob that holds on the MMM belt cover wasn't there after I...

    Diesel Fuel Boogers

The filter was a very smart move. Don't know what year your truck is but I can tell you the latest injection systems don't like bad fuel. I'd rater be inconvenienced by a plugged filter than $10K worth of fuel system repairs.

    KTAC Insurance Increase???

Complaining about something that is close to 30K to replace for under $300 a year...please. They have actuarial tables to cover the loses for a reason. The numbers aren't pulled out of their butt.

o-ring seal replacement for injector pump

You cannot just do this. You need to make sure everything is at top dead center. Not running would be the least of your worries. Bent valve would be the concern (if these are interference engines) Honestly don't know, just speaking from other diesel experience.

tipped b7800 onto its left side

You got lucky. Hand cranking will not push the excess oil out. You need to crank it to get enough speed. Half a teaspoon can bend a rod......

    RPM operating range

Lugging a diesel is also bad for it. Because it "sounds" too fast isn't really a scientific reason. I'd never run one under 2K and that would be for very light work. You will not hurt them running them at 2500-3100. Just use a LITTLE more fuel. I can tell you in the Diesel VW world cars that are...

    snow plow for kammander

I'd buy a cheap Honda ATV. I have a Rancher 350 4x4 with a frame length mount swisher plow. Manual adjust but there are tie downs so with a couple ropes you can unlock and turn it from the seat. BIG time saver. I have a 300 ft driveway and for a light snow the ATV is by far the FASTEST way to...

    piston rings

They could have used a ball hone and really over-did it. See it a lot in the diesel car world. They need a LIGHT hone, with a proper hone. Sometimes they can be re-honed smooth and then gauge it to see if you need to go with a complete oversize. Don't know if they make slightly bigger rings for...
