    Diesel prices???

    Here in New Brunswick, we pay 1.20/ liter x 4.54=5.44 Can gal. for road diesel. Reg. gas is 1.02 /liter x 4.54=4.63 for a gal.

    L2250 starting

    I've got a 1986 L2250 with 2370 hrs, bought it new, never had any problems except front oil seal on crankshaft, and front axle seal. Had the same thing happen with the battery. Get it charged up and do a load test. Good luck

    L2850 block heater

    I had the same problem 28 or so years ago with my L2250, went to an automotive store and bought a in line heater that I installed in the bottom radiator hose. I turn it on about 30 min. before starting, and it never let me down yet.

    Are Landpride implements worth the extra money?

    I myself don't have any Landpride implements, but I wish I did. My next door neighbor has a rear blade and a bush cutter, and they have been used a lot , and still no problems. They are very well built.

    Diesel prices???

    Up here in New Brunswick, Canada, regular gas is 4.72 per Can gal. and diesel is 5.44 per gal The price of fuel had gone down since last fall, but it started to climb again in the past 2 weeks. Too bad !!!!

    Help with L2250 Front Axle Leak

    Just finished changing the front oil seal . It's not a bad job , but you need a 1/13/16 deep socket to remove the lower belt drive on the crankshaft. It's best to take everything out ..battery, fan shaft, alternator, top of hood. The seal cost me $6.50.

    My L2250 started to leak oil from the front , on top of axle. Found crankshaft oil seal bad.     Had the same problem as you have, it took me 30 years to build a carry all, one of the best implement to put on your tractor. You put it on when you need it, take it off when you don't. I built mine with 2'' angle iron with 2x10 and 2x4 pressure treated wood

    Front axel leak

    My right front axle started leaking, I got a new seal and installed it. Now, 3 years later, the left one has started to leak. I'll wait till the summer and change it .If you have a workshop manuel, it's a piece of cake.

    Fuel cost

    Here in New Brunswick, Canada, diesel sells for $1.36 per litre, or $6.17/ gal. When I bought my L2250 in 1986, 5 gallon can of diesel was $14.20, Now the same can cost $32.70 Reg gas sells for $1.20 a litre, or 1.20 x 4.54= $5.44/gal.

    L2250 front tires

    I' m having problems with front tires, they crack up on the sides.They are 6x 14- 4 ply I wonder if someone else has this problem, and how to fix it. Thank you

    Front Ag tires

    Would like to know if you can buy 6x 14 6ply tires for L2250. Have had problems with 4ply. Went to 6 ply for the back tires, and they last longer. Thank You
