Runs great for abuot an hour

Yes, sounds like fuel starvation. MIght have goobers floating in the tanks. Perhaps a glob of algae? After a while it gets sucked to the intake and chokes the fuel supply. Or a leaf or similar object.

    Battery

Well, not always. The way they get more CCA in a given group size is to use more plates. That means thinner plates. This makes the really high CCA batteries more fragile. Probably not an issue in a pavement queen, but on an off-road vehicle or a tractor which has to deal with vibration and...

    Fuel delivery

That is not correct. It may be that you are confused by the lower auto-ignition temperature of diesel (210) compared to gasoline (246 - 280), but that is not the correct metric to look at. The vaporization characteristics (which affect flash point) and the MIE (Minimum Ignition Energy) are the...

    OOPS! Let's see them!

Well, it wouldn't be polite of us to argue with you. Juuusst kidding! :D

    Fuel delivery

That's not a bad idea. Not as critical with diesel as it is with gasoline, of course, but it doesn't hurt to play it safe.

Here's why you wear a seat belt with ROPS system

Of course it's a personal choice. Nobody suggested otherwise. There are good personal choices and there are bad personal choices.

    Fuel delivery

I have one that is very similar. It does the job for now. I also have a home heating oil tank which I got half full from a Craigslist ad. (I actually got my 12v pump to help me pump the tank out so I could move it.) I plan to pour a slab and mount it there, and run 120 to it, then buy a real...

Here's why you wear a seat belt with ROPS system

Or who have things happen that are unexpected and completely outside of their control. And that, too, really does happen.

Here's why you wear a seat belt with ROPS system

I don't know what the percentages are for tractors, but the last time I checked, about 1% of motor vehicle accidents involve submersion or fire. Those are the only situations where you might be better off withOUT a seat belt than WITH. But even in that 1%, in almost all cases you are better...

    OOPS! Let's see them!

Here we are picking up the BX25 when my son rolled it last summer. He got off to the side of the pile into soft dirt, and over she went. No harm done except that the ROPs was tweaked a bit. (Please excuse the rented green machine!) :D

    Coolant... after the fact

Yep. It's amazing how many people assume that the guy at the local parts store is an expert on all thing automotive. It's like they assume they get some kind of extensive training or something...

    Coolant... after the fact

The liability they would incur would be massive. Not that corporations have never done things that are irresponsible or horribly short-sighted or just plain stupid, but I'd have to see some evidence of them doing something this stupid before I'd believe it.

New to diesel -- what don't I know?

There are two differences between them: Off road has a red dye. Highway fuel has road taxes. Otherwise, they are exactly the same. Run either one or both. Doesn't matter.

    BX23s fuel filters

I got one for twenty bucks. Don't know the resolution, but it's good enough for this kind of work. Takes pictures and videos.

    Why No Seat Belt Interlock?

There are a lot of reasons for that. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=why+no+seatbelts+on+buses As for whether or not seat belts save lives, that question belongs solidly in the "flat earth society" column. The data is overwhelming. The sun rises in the east, the earth is a...

    Why No Seat Belt Interlock?

Amen! We have more than enough safety devices. It seems the more of them we have, the less people use the most important one between their ears. My son was saved from injury last summer when he rolled my BX-25. He was wearing his seat belt, or he might have been injured, perhaps seriously...

Why <1% Moly spec for Kubota recommended grease?

I'd give them a good 'flushing' with the correct grease. Pump it through until the new stuff comes out.

    Hard starting L35

Yep. Another vote for looking very hard at those cables. The voltage drop test is the best way to find out.
